DeWalt is a global manufacturer of power tools, hand tools and accessories. Dewalt wrenches are manufactured in the USA. United States, Mexico and China. The pig ring anvil impact wrench is manufactured in the United States, while the 18 V lithium-ion impact wrench is manufactured in China.
All other impact wrenches are manufactured in Mexico. Full disclosure I own both brands of tools and I follow both companies closely even though I don't work for either company. Made in the United States with world-class parts, it feels nice warm and fuzzy, doesn't it? So basically, do like Harbor Freight, and the (flea market tool people everywhere) and take a bunch of cheap parts and assemble them here, and then call them American-made? In fact, according to the Milwaukee themselves, they make absolutely no cordless power tools in the United States and only make a saw (not all) and a magnetic drill. That's all.
More than 100 years later, Lenox manufactures industrial saw blades, hand tools, power tool accessories and other products. Southwire's Made In America hand tool program includes a wide line of products manufactured in the USA. These are part of its commitment to American manufacturing. For one tool, it could refer to the core of the laminated motor armature, for another, it could refer to the brushless motor controller.
They can respond more quickly to the demands of their consumers because they make those tools here in the U.S. UU. Headquartered in Mequon, WI, Johnson Level has been manufacturing leveling, marking and design tools for more than 70 years. Manufacturing facilities over the past 10 years, in addition to investing heavily in new equipment and tools to expand both the capacity and quality of these and existing plants.
Things like some measuring tapes and other hand tools are made here, but not exclusively from raw materials or parts of American origin. Its products include Milwaukee, AEG power tools and Ryobi electrical tools and accessories, Ryobi and Homelite outdoor products, and Hoover US, Dirt Devil and Vax floor care appliances. Even if manufacturing a tool overseas is difficult, DeWalt monitors where the product is most in demand before deciding where to buy.
