With all our focus on tools that are made in the USA. In the US, we wanted to take stock of what is actually manufactured and assembled here in the United States and celebrate the companies that put American workers to work. You quickly run into two problems with that, of course. First, we can't include everyone, and second, the rules keep changing regarding when a product or tool can be said to be made in the United States.

Headquartered in Mequon, WI, Johnson Level has been manufacturing leveling, marking and design tools for more than 70 years. The company employs more than 1,200 American workers. Kubota Industrial Equipment (or KIE) manufactures compact tractors and tractor implements, including loaders and backhoes.
